In 1993, I had three boys and did not like the care they were receiving in their childcare. In a previous job, I worked as a certified nurses aide in a nursing home. I knew I could do a much better job in my own place. I started Creative Way Preschool and Family Childcare at that time.

I opened my doors in 1993, in San Mateo, CA. My reputation grew over the years, just by word of mouth, and many times families had to wait for an opening. In 1998, I had my daughter and our Creative Way Preschool and Family Childcare was flourishing. I wanted to give the best care possible, so in 2008 I received my Early Childhood Certificate, in 2009 I received my AS in Child Development and in 2019 I received my BA in Child Development.

In 2019, I relocated my daycare to Lynnwood, WA., to be closer to my aging parents and family. I look forward to all the new families and children entering Creative Way.
